DescriptionBenjamin Burrows (1891-1966) was first appointed as a Lecturer in Music at the University College, Leicester in 1924. His sister, Grace Burrows, was also appointed as a Music lecturer at the same time. He continued to teach at Leicester until the Second World War.
Includes songs, violins, piano, organ, chamber, orchestral and choral music. Much of the printed music was published by the Bodnant Press, 2, University Road, Leicester. Also includes programmes for sing and organ recitals by Burrows in Leicester in 1928, and some biographical and critical articles on the composer.
